I’ve installed Public Mobile SIMs on both of my kids’ Pinwheel phones. The group chat function is set up - but it isn’t working. I spent over an hour with a Pinwheel tech support person while we adjusted settings, including adding several new APNs for the SIM card, but I’m still having the same problems. Since everything is working on the device, I was told that the problem may be that certain settings on the Public Mobile account need to be changed or updated. The phone will text to individual numbers without any problem - the issue is only with texting to more than one person at a time.
Thanks for your help!

hi @JB32
look like a phone issue. can you confirm if the sim works on another phone with SMS and MMS?

Thanks, @hTideGnow. I’m afraid I’m still having the same problem after updating the APN.

I’ve been testing on our other family phones and they have data enabled.

@JB32 I don't know if you have checked this already, but i find that when I send group messages the data of the individuals must be enabled.
I send to groups but the person that doesn't have their data on doesn't receive my message.
You can ask them to check that.

Hi @hTideGnow
Voice calls and data are fine, as is texting to one person.
I've checked the APN settings and made these changes. The only thing I can't add is the MMSC proxy (there is a place to add a MMS proxy but not an MMSC proxy - I've tried both adding the info above to MMS proxy and leaving it blank but no luck either way).
So far, I'm still having the same error message - message not sent.
Any other suggestions?
