Consequence of "Change Now" vs "Change on Renewal"

I don't know why I wouldn't change now... but they must be asking for a reason.

Let's say my plan payment was yesterday, If I "Change Now" am I wasting money?

@StevenMorehouse A big warning pops up, before you commit and pay, telling you what will happen if you carry through with "Change Now", giving you a chance to reconsider. Not exactly under handed or sneaky let alone stealing. Have a look at the pic.

Can't get much clearer than that. I will grant you that "before" selecting "Change Now", the info isn't as readily available. Here it is...

Lol what are you talking about?  "pretty clear"?  Do you think I would have come into a forum to ask the question if it was clear?  Where are they "pretty clear" about it?   There's two buttons with ZERO explanation on what either does.  There's a "fineprint" link with ZERO information on the difference between the options.

So if you mean by "pretty clear" that they post it somewhere on some page that isn't the page  you are on when you're making the decision... then that's nuts.

If it is on that page and I just missed it - despite looking everywhere I could before resorting to coming here - then I'll apologize.

Would not call it stealing since they give you the 2 options and explain the difference. It is a just matter what is best for you given the situation.

Yes, if you got charged yesterday, and select "change now" today, you will be charged for your new "change" in plan, and they will not refund you the previous days/plan payment. so i would ALWAYS use "change on renewal".

You can ask them if they can give you a refund, but there is no obligation for them to do so as they claim no refunds.

Nevermind, found the answer:  Never use change now, they *#$@ steal your $

@StevenMorehouse How is it stealing if you ignore the big warning about what happens if you select "change now"? They make it pretty clear they will charge you immediately and NOT reimburse, refund or prorate your old plan.

hi @StevenMorehouse

don't use Change Now if you don't meant to

with Change Now, PM will charge you the amount of the new plan now and start the new plan now.  No refund on the old plan even it just renewed yesterday

So, better to use Change on Renewal to schedule the plan change
