I am on the $25 plan. Witch has unlimited talk and text. I was just charged a $20. top up. Plus charged my monthly charge of $25. (Oct 13 / 2025). What is going on . I want my card to credited for the over charge or put in my account. Thank You Bob...

1. Login to your PM account and verify your transactions and your balance. I guess it’s possible that your account got hacked and some one bought a $20 top up. But I doubt it.
2. Login to your “payment type” and verify charge there as well.
3. If your balance is $20, it will be used for your next payment and your “payment type” will be debited only $5.

we don't know, what's why a screenshot of the transaction history might help. But since you see the overcharged back as a credit, I think it is ok.
or you can ask PM directly, message PM using this link:

Please note that PM is on a 30 days cycle and not monthly.
You can login to your account and check if any additional charges were added under Payment>View Payment History.
If you were overcharged then the additional charges will remain as credit in your account.
If you wish a refund then click on the Chat icon then type in Submit a Ticket then Contact.

Where do you see those $20? On you credit card or on your account?
If it is on account as available funds leave it there for the next billing cycle to be used.

You will need to contact customer service agent to fix the issue. Do you see the extra charge as extra available funds in your account? It can take several weeks to process the refund. That is why it may be easier just to leave the extra funds available for next payment due date.
Send a ticket via the chatbot to customer service agent (CSA) via link:

Expect a few hour wait for response.

it shouldn't have the $20 top up. Did you see it on credit card side or My Account. Log in My Account, go to Payment history page and check. If you see the $20 charges, can you post a screenshot of the transactions of that and those couple one before and after so we can understand?

The "Top Up" is the charge itself. As long as you don't see two charges on your credit card, you will be fine. If you do see two credit card charges, one may be in pending state. Confirm with your credit card company first there were two charges. If there were, then contact a CS Agent for a credit.
