Change my number in Whatsapp

I tried to change my phone number on Whatsapp to the new one I got with my new subscription with you. It keeps saying the couldn’t send a SMS message to verify my new phone number. I am receiving SMS but not this one, so I can’t change my phone number. Could I please talk to an agent? Thank you

On WhatsApp, if you are registering a new number. You can wait until the countdown to hit zero then have the code to your WhatsApp account be made by sending it by a phone call.

That is what I did using my TextNow number to register on WhatsApp.

@Berta it is normal system text like SMS will take as many as 7 days to start working

BUT , WhatsApp registration has option to also WhatsApp to call you instead.  Use that option

Tap the Call me option to request the call.

Hi, thank you for your answer. I already tried. Looks like the problem is when they try to verify with a SMS. The link you sent me does not work either, I can’t see anything. See attached.

@Berta  Maybe first uninstall what’s app and re install it . See if that helps . But here how to contact support
