Cant receive phone calls on public,it says my number is disconnected

It is goin to take 3 plus hours for virgin to release and report my account and number ,but they say it will work then !!

It sounds like porting your old number was incomplete.
Two important things need to be done.
1- Old carrier account must be active
2- Reply to the text confirming you are porting your number over to PM. You have 90 minutes to confirm or porting is canceled
If you picked a new number, reboot your phone by powering off then power back on.

@Tch5 @If you are trying to port , both accounts need to be active for the port to be successful

@Tch5 did you just join and also ported in the number?
A critical part to porting is to receive a text from your old provider and you have to reply YES within 90 mins. If you are not receiving calls and text on your PM sim card and can only make outgoing calls, then you might have missed the step and hence porting was not completed
There is a number to call to talk to live support, they can re-trigger the process for you. I will message the number to you via the Community inbox. Check the envelope icon on top right. Call them and get it fixed

Did you just try to port in your phone number,?
