An Agent advised me to activate with a new number and then port afterwards but now i am stuck with a new # and an error saying I cant port my number.
I was lied to.

refer to this article for porting. At the bottom there is a link to start ticket if porting from Koodo prepaid. As @Handy1 says you need support to intervene if porting from Koodo prepaid. If that's what you told support then that's why they suggested you get a new number and then port afterwards. Maybe they forgot to tell you you had to contact support to assist with the port.

@PublicIsAwful20 Is it Koodo prepaid ? Is so you just need support to help port number if you already activated the SIM card

Check to see if # can be ported

And all you need to do is sign into self serve and go to profile tab to port number , also note your old provider account needs to be active for port to complete

@PublicIsAwful20 What is the error you're seeing? What carrier are you trying to port from? The process does work, let's try to work through it.
