I cannot connect to the internet. I just put my SIM Card in the slot. The phone works well. But, no internet. Did I miss something?

@Bydesignprez An unfortunate drawback of the LG4 phones but I'm sure there's other features that make up for this inconvenience when changing providers. Welcome to public mobile!

Thta took time to wipe the phone and start again - but it worked to get the data connection working. Thanks

Try a network reset...if that fails..you will have to backup your phone and do a factory reset.

@Bydesignprez With your model of LG you must try a network reset. More than likely you will have to back up your data and do a factory reset.

If you have a LG phone, you need to do network reset after changing provider before your data working again. If network reset failed to get data working, you may need to do a factory reset. but backup your data first before factory reset. Always restart your phone after reset.

@lgjeng Make sure data is turned on and you have the correct APN setting. This is the Public Mobile APN setting that you will need:
Name: Public Mobile
APN: sp.mb.com
Proxy: Leave blank
Port: Leave blank
Username: Leave blank
Password: Leave blank
Server: Leave blank
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMSC proxy: 74.49.0.18
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication type: Leave blank
APN type: default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
Bearer: Unspecified
MVNO type: GID
Don't forget to save these settings and then select this APN as the active one.

@lgjeng Can you send and receive mms messages if your Wi-Fi is turned off? What's the make and model of your phone ? If you can't, it's your APN settings. Here's a link to the PM APN settings
