if you want to go to a different cell provider and keep your current cell number...your Public Mobile account needs to be Active and paid up in order to port the number successfully.

Public Mobile is a self serve service. You can cancel your own account. Simply log in and turn off autopay. If you're unable to log in, create ticket to a CS Agent so they can help you log back in.
