yesterday
Actually I can confirm I am currently in mexico using my PM sim and to call a Mexican number I dial +52 before the area code and number, and to call canada or us numbers from Mexico mexico dial +1 area code and number. It works like a charm

Hey @DeanaN ... ever heard the term.... When in Rome?
So when you're in the USA, dial like an American does using the 1 area code then number. When in Mexico, dial like they do there to the US or to Canada. Dial 00 plus 1 plus area code then number. Easy peezy!
That does usually work, but rather than trying to remember how to dial to outside of a country based on regional dialing difference, I believe it easier to dial + and then the country code.

HI @DeanaN
yes, country code still needed to place the calls. Basically you made the call like you are in Canada
