Just activated my public mobile plan and I can send outgoing texts but am not receiving any texts. Anyone know how to solve this issue? I’ve tried restarting and changing settings

CSA may ask a few questions to verify account ownership and then should be able to help you. Response times can take a few hours. Check your private message inbox (envelope in upper right corner of website).

So, not a porting issue then. Likely an account provision problem.
A few basic trouble shooting advice:
You could try the SIM card in another working phone. This helps determine whether phone issue versus Pm service problem.
Did you try network reset of phone?
Toggle airplane mode on, then off
If PM service problem., you will need to contact customer service agent.

Did you port your number over from another mobile company? If you did port, did you response yes to your original carrier's port request confirmation text?
What about incoming calls?
Does data work?
