Can't make calls outside of Canada, even after purchasing "300 International Long Distance Minutes"

I'm unable to make outgoing calls to the US from Canada, So I used my points to buy the "300 International Long Distance Minutes" add on. It shows that I've used my points and that I've purchased this, but I still can't make outgoing calls to the US from Canada. 
How can I fix this?

to PM , they have different LD add-on for different countries.  US, UK and other countries have their own addon.  Actually, it is to your advantage that US is by itself as the US Long Distance addon is cheaper per minute

Do you not consider the United Stated (a different country) to be international? Why is it called international minutes, if you can't make international calls?

if you want to call US, you need to buy the US specific addon, not the International one

if you have not used the International addon at all, PM support agent can help to change it or give you back the credit for you to buy the correct one
