Can only receive but not send SMS

Just changed my device (degoogled phone pixel 3, with 'graphene os' custom ROM), but cannot send sms (except to my own number). Everything else works ok, and apn settings are ok as well. I was wondering if there is something I need to call customer service to set up for me.

Try a reset of your network settings.

Also,

Turn chat features on or off

1. On your device, open Messages .
2. At the top right, tap More. Settings.
3. Tap Chat features.
4. Toggle "Enable chat features" on or off.

@oldrinba   any chance is RCS issue?

Tap the  3 dots on top right, click Settings
under Chat settings, scroll to "Select default messaging type",
Switch from Automatic to Text/multimedia msg

Public Mobile does not have call centre. Try disabling the RCS feature.
