Can I use my old public mobile sim card to activate a new account?
Before Dec 2022, I was using public mobile and owned a public mobile sim card with a 19 digits sim card number.
Right now I would like to subscript back to public mobile, could I use this old sim card to activate my new account?
I am worried that the old SIM card does not support the current 5G network
Thank you in advanced.

@SnowS if the old sim card was used before for an activation, even it had not been used for 2+ year, it cannot be used again on another activation.
So again, you need a new PM sim card for your new activation

Thank you @hTideGnow . Thats to say, my old sim card haven't be used for two years but I still can't subscribe to a plan and enter the sim card number, right?

hi @SnowS the same sim card can be used on the different networks including 5G. But problem is you cannot reuse the same old one
but new from Telus or Koodo store for $10 or buy from Amazon for $5. Find a friend code to save $10 for activation

@SnowS no, sim cards are good for one time activation only and cannot be reused
For new activation, get a new Public Mobile sim card from
