Call from Mexico to Canada not working with new plan Canada-usa-Mexico

Try to call to Canada from Mexico and operator told me call can't be done???…I have an iPhone SE  and canada-usa-mexico plan

00+1 <7digits> works!  I’m in Puerto Vallarta.  This was driving me nuts thanks.

there seems to be many different way to do it, try them all

• 001 <area code> <7 digits>
• 00+1 <area code> <7 digits>   (key is to use a + in between the 00 , actual dial the plus sign, it does not mean concatenation)
• 00 1 <area code> <7 digits>

try +1 and then the 10 digits (the + 1 is plus sign and then 1)
