Do I need a new SIM card when changing from a Moto G8 to an iPhone 13 or can I just swop them over? If I need a new SIM card can I keep my number?

Swap SIM cards as mentioned. I believe if you have contacts stored on the SIM, that the iPhone will ask if you want them transferred to you contacts on iPhone. iPhones do not store contacts on
Sim.

Just take sim outta old phone and install in new phone.

Just put SIM card in your new phone and reboot. No need for a new SIM card.
