Broken promises / Contracts - Monthly Plans

What happened to the promise to Loyal customers. I've been with Public Mobile for well over 10 years I'm sure and through my plan choice had my payments credited down to $15 -$18 month with lots of free data built up. I didn't pay much attention to new promos as I was ok with what we had. Now I'm notified my credit card is due to expire and to please update it. I'm looking into that I discovered my plan is now back up to $25  month with apparently No free data.

Changed without my approval. I also see Rewards are offered to loyal customers ... Wait ... What ... 

I already fell for that Lie !!

Really feel betrayed and wondering where I should now take my business?

@MJinCB  The old $25 plan included 1GB of data.  That plan was offered to existing customers for $19 for 1GB around the time the points system came in a year ago, but then became for new customers only so unfortunately you missed it.  You  had to change plan at the time to get it.  I'm guessing that you might have 9GB in bonus data, did you look at the "usage breakdown" to see the add ons that you currently have?

Got a bit further. Updated my Credit Card info. Now I can see Subscription Add Ons.

Says Hero Plan 1gb 30 day 3g

So I was wrong thinking 0.15/9gb image meant I might have the $25 10gb plan?

Not impressed if the above means they increased my Loyalty monthly amount back up to $25;a month while reducing my monthly gb .

try using the PM app or access via Incognito/private/secret mode on your browser

with the 43 points, you nee 2 more to make it 45 points for 3x $15 redemption.  But you can redeem 30 points first.  You need to redeem them in separate transactions

I think you are right. I did see something like 0.15 / 9gb ... ?? Image on one page.

I can't access the Subscription- Ads Ons page.iIt just sits there. Rewards says 43.

I'll come back later to try accessing the Subscription/ Add ons page to see if that's where I update my newest Credit Card Expirey Date info.

Public Mobile did give it's customers several weeks notice of change from Rewards to Points...all cell networks have plans that evolve over time...10 years is a long time to not check on your plan options. Loyalty is recognized in Points now. You must log in to your account to convert Points to $$ for renewals, add-ons or contests.  It's a wise idea to log in to your account every coupla months just to see that all is well and maybe find a better plan. Your Holiday Bonus data should be there still unless you've used it up over the years...I still have 2GB's from a few years ago myself.

None of us long-timers really liked the change to Points...but I guess we're used to it now. I just wonder how many others are like you who still aren't aware of the evolution. Please don't feel like you been lied to...PM is still a better cell provider with competitive options. Just check in to your account a few times per year to be up-to-speed.

I would suggest you login to your account then go to Subscription tab>Manage Subscription>Change Subscription. You might have the option to switch to the $19 plan with 1gb data, $20 plan with 3gb of data. Plans are different for each members.

Remember to switch plan on your next renewal date so you won’t pay for the old and new plan.

The $25 should include data but perhaps you mean you don't see your "gift" bonus data add ons?  They aren't shown as obviously as before, you have to log in and go to "usage breakdown" to see any add ons that you have.

you still have the $25 1GB plan? Check your My Account's Change Subscription page, there is a chance you will see a $25 - 10GB plan.  Same price but at least more data.

Thank you. I'll try to access my account page to see if I can figure out what to do and how to get Plans again close to what my wife and i had previously before we make a choice to stay or to go.

but did you check My Rewards site?  Login to My Account and click Rewards on top right to get to Rewards site

you likley have some points there.  Whenever you got 15 points, you can go to Catalogue and redeem for $15 bill credit

you probably not earning rewards as fast as the old rewards program, but you still earning.  And you need to do manual redemption now

Yea, the Loyalty Rewards program was changed this week one full year now.

Check out how many points you have in the Rewards section and redeem them first before you leave so that you can atleast take advantage of that or you will lose out again.
