Just found out that at least half of the people calling me are consistently getting a busy signal. Text come in late or not at all... Some calls and texts make it thru, but many don't. Between work, my personal business and the rest of it, I don't even want to think about the few important calls I've missed. Kind of crushes a little thinking I might have last my last job because no one could get ahold of me. I thought maybe I missed a few important calls...but it seems it's more than just a few! And every resume I've haded out in the last 2 months? Yup! A phone number from Public mobile attached. And me, sitting g here waiting for someone to call me.... Awesome.
I've handed out over the last few months as well as email and.... Who knows? I know a few interviewers that will take the time to call you, even if the answer was no. I haven't heard back from more than 3. Even if I was unqualified, I'd expect to hear back from more than 3 interviews!
On an s22, so I know its compatible. I read the 'q and a' section and yes, I did turn it off and on and no card is in the slot.
But I can't reach a LIVE agent, so I'm asking here.
Has anyone had this problem of some of your people getting the busy tone when they call you while others don't?
And how did you correct it?
I JUST paid for another month so I'm stuck here for now. After getting offers from Public for upgrading, and then being refused those upgrades with zero explanation, I'm really starting to lose faith in this little thing Telus has going on.
I told so many friends about Public and how good it was to have a phone company finally get with the times and on par with Europe and South/Central American prices... what am I gonna tell them now?

Haha. You're right. I didn't even notice it. I've turned it off and on and back off again. It might help but I probably won't know as I finally got ahold of someone here. After a 4 hour chat, they've reset, something, and now I get to wait and watch for the phone to ring, or not...lol

It's already on, at least based on your screen shots unless you turned it off after taking them. So you just need to turn it off.

@Rollipopps The bottom link in my first reply to you is direct link to message support give it a try . Just tap it type message and hit send message and support usually reply in 1-2 hours but

Thank you! I'll check out the link you've posted. I tried the ticket thing but I doubt it'll go anywhere as it was a multiple choice form. All they know is I'm having an issue with my service. Lol. Like, the blind leading the blind, or something ironic like that.

I tried chatting with the bot, but it's just not understanding the issue. Tried to get ahold of a live rep, and was sent to make a complaint ticket, that I'll now wait for. Unfortunately, the ticket just had multiple choice and no place to write my issue (maybe I missed it?).
If they get back to me, I'll ask them about resetting the account.

I wish I had the time. I'm racing to get any hours/work I can right now. Bars are usually full and look clear. I had a friend run some updaters and fancy apps to clean up my phone with no real solutions I've had friends call me from all over the city and get the busy tone. Sometimes they get thru, sometimes it's just a busy signal. Imagine 100+ resumes and the time ive wasted... pfffft.

Difficult to provide any smart reply.
My service with PM works well. No issue with calls nor with SMS. I am in York region.
Maybe service in your area is not that great. How many signal bars do you have? I am always at max (5).
You could get free voip app and try to call yourself from different locations to determine what is an issue: location? phone? your PM service?

@Rollipopps Maybe try reseting network settings , but also note there’s no live support with public mobile everything is done online . If you want to contact support you can
submit ticket with support . using the chat bubble bottom right of screen
If that doesn’t work you can always send direct private message to support .
