Bank transaction SMS do not come through

Since I moved to Public Mobile, I no longer receive bank transaction text messages. Not being able to receive a security code impairs electronic bank transfers. 

Would registering the bank « phone number » in my contacts would be sufficient to solve this problem?

No. It was from mobile to mobile with the same phone number.

Yes, I do receive 2FA codes from PM as well as from other companies, including from my bank when opening a session.

I will open a ticket as suggested.

Did you port land line to PM or it was mobile to mobile number or brand new number?

are you getting other 2FA code  other PM's own 2FA code?

i would ask PM to confirm, Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.)  Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

I joined Public Mobile on March 17th and had this issue on March 24th and 26th.

It should be Canadian bank codes since my bank is has its headquarters in Canada.

 

it has been over 10 days.  Try reboot the phone and test again

and it is a Canadian bank's 2FA you are waiting for?

 I joined Public Mobile on March 17th and the issue occurred on March 24th and 26th.

how long you joined?  It usually take as many as a weeks for all the 2FA text to come to a new provider

How long ago did you move to Public Mobile? Are these Canadian bank codes?

Sometimes they do take several days to start coming through.

You can add the numbers to your contacts if you want even though that is not necessary it is automatic as long as the correct phone number is registered with the banks.

I have the same issue even if my bank is Canadian. I used to receive its SMS  before but no longer receive them since I moved to Public Mobile.
