Autopay credit

Hey all,

I think there was some sort of error during my initial port in and setup of one of my accounts. I ported two lines in, and set autopay on both. On one, the $6 autopay credit was applied. On the other, it wasn't. Any way in particular that I should address this?

There should not be any auto pay credit on the first payment.  The auto pay credit is applied on the second payment which is the first renewal.  I have heard of people getting a $6 credit sitting in their account upon activation.  Well if that happened in one of your accounts, count yourself lucky.  It is probably a system glitch, don't expect universal generosity.

Actually, I believe the $6 credit in available funds is the way it's supposed to happen, and when it doesn't, that would be the exception, likely due to some activation/port error as in the OP's case. Everything went fine with my activation with autopay enabled - I was charged taxes correctly and I received the $6 available funds that sat in my account for 3 months. I had a total of $12 discounted from from my first renewal due to autopay ($6 from "available funds" + $6 from "autopay reward"), and I've seen it reported with enough other customers' accounts that I'm convinced it's meant to be that way. So the discounts due to autopay for the first three payments on a 90-day plan should be $0, $12, $6.

Good luck comes in 3s.  Wanna share a lotto ticket for the next draw?  Man Tongue

It's more like you will get 12 dollars off on your next renewal date for autopay enable if someone signup for autopay when they joined pm.

Software bugs are not predictable.  I have heard of people not being assessed taxes on the account activation.  Some people have all the luck, lol.

Really?
Hmm, I guess that makes sense? Anyway, it was the different treatment on the exact same plans that confused me.

Thanks for the input.
