Anyone not able to send sms?

thundertoast

Whenever I try to send texts they fail to send. I can still receive them (at least from public mobile) and my data works too. It's anyone else experiencing this?

@thundertoast It happens to me from time to time. Usually at one location where signal is very weak. Moving around and turning Airplane mode on/off resolves the issue most of the time.

There have been some odd texting issues reported since mid-July that I recall.

But first, is this a new account/activation or are you a current customer that this happened all of a sudden.

Some things to try:

  • restart your phone
  • toggle into and out of airplane mode
  • perform a Reset of the device's Network Settings
  • move your sim card to another phone to see if services works
  • manually select the 3G / WCDMA ONLY network in your Mobile Connections area in your settings (temporarily) to see if calling improves

Not sure if this is your issue, but check out this post if it is:
