Any prepaid sim card for travelers coming to Canada?

Does PM have any prepaid sim card with talk/text/data like link below? As my sister will come to Canada for about 20 days and see if she can have a plan like this to use in Canada.

There were free sim card promotions from time to time before, but unfortunately, there is no promo right now.

No you can not get free simcards.  but the nice thing is that they only cost $5.  oder one now so you have it onhand when she arrives.

the other option is to use fongo.com she can get a free canadian number, the oly thing is that she would have to be connected to wifi for it to work so it depends what she needs the number for and how often she will have access to wifi.

I also believe there is a provider that  has a 15$ data only plan that would work with the  fongo voip option plus a sim card.

@mikga

Also, you should check to make sure your sister's phone will be compatible with PM's network:
http://willmyphonework.net/

Your sister's phone must be unlocked to have any chance of working, however.

If you are unsure of the results from that site, the alternative is, order a spare SIM before your sister arrives, but don't activate it yet.  When she is here, pop your already activated PM SIM from your own account into her phone to see it it works, and if it does, then activate the new SIM for her.  Worst case is it doesn't work and you'll have a spare SIM to keep.  It'll only be $5.

Unless you have one already, you must order a $5 SIM card first and have it mailed to a Canadian address.
