Add on purchase of U.S. Roaming for 15 days

I purchased a 15 day u.s. roaming plan a few days ago and I am still unable to call in the U.S. I don't understand why this is not working. Please fix this.

To enable VoLTE:

1. Open the Settings app on your home screen or app drawer, or slide down from the top of your screen.
2. Tap Connections > Mobile networks.
3. Tap the VoLTE calls toggle to turn it on.

A13 has VoLTE, but it is not on PM's own VoLTE whitelist:

So, you can't use VoLTE for voice in US.  You will have to try using T-Mobile's 2G network for voice

If you cannot make voice calls still, you will have to download VoIP app like TextNow or Fongo to make call with the app using Wifi or Roaming data (if you your roaming addon has data)

How do you enable VoLTE? I have a Samsung galaxy compatible phone. Why wouldn't Public tell me this when I purchased add on?

What network are you connected to? I would try selecting T-Mobile and see if it works if it's available in your area.

My phone is 5G..I have the $34 plan in Canada and then added the long distance calling of 1000 minutes. Now I am in U.S. I did the add on for U.S. roaming so I could make some U.S. calls. Not working.

@pjones   Is your phone on Public Mobile's VoLTE list at the bottom of this page?

If not that is likely  your problem since the USA no longer has any 3G networks that a non-VoLTE phone can use.  If that's the problem then data and texting should work but not voice.  You may want to consider downloading a voip app such as Fongo or TextNow to make voice calls over data or wifi.

VoLTE needs to be enabled to make calls. What phone do you have?
