I've got a trip to Indonesia coming up real quickly here, I'll be fine for a month, and I'm looking to find the most affordable plan/service I can get through you guys. I don't need anything extensive, simply being able to make a phone call when need be is more than enough for me. Of course, this is just until I get back, afterwards, I'd like to revert to what I've originally got going on now

You can also use WhatsApp for free wifi text and talk as long as the other person is also have WhatsApp. It is free to download and you will use your current phone number.

TextNow is another option for free wifi text and talk but you will need to pick a second number to use the app.

Depending how long you are away from Canada. You can downgrade to the $15 plan on AutoPay so you won’t loss your number.

Or you can disable AutoPay and remove your CC to suspend your account but remember to make a payment when you return to Canada…but don’t stop payment for 90 days or your account will be closed, loss your number and the SIM is dead.

PM does not provide service outside of this continent. For US you have to buy 10 day add-on.

Ah I see! And in terms of my current plan, can I simply put things on hold for the time being? I just don't want to cause disruptions with my provider.

HI @Yap   sorry, PM does not offer roaming service for Indonesia (they only have it for USA)

So, you have to use local prepaid solution, get local prepaid data there instead

And use TextNow to make calls back to Canada for free

@Yap hi sorry public will not work overseas you will need a local sim while there
