I have had a few missed calls today, where when I call them back, they tell me they left a message. An hour later my phone alerts me that there is a voicemail. So I check my voicemail, yet there are no new voicemails.
Why is this happening out of the blue?

Hi thanks, this did not work either 😞 I have created a ticket.

I'll try this ticket. Thank you. I'll also try putting my sim in another phone, but I have to wait for my old phone to turn back on.

HI @LarissaDDT I think we need to ask PM CS Agent to reset your voicemail from the system side
Click on the Bubble or directly at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot. Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:
After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent
If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can also send a private message to the moderators (but this can take longer):

Yes aggravating indeed. I am an iphone user. So far the 1-9 hasn't worked. But I will try again

ughh such a pain. Can you keep us updated if the 1-9 method recovered those messages and if you resolve this problem because that is definitely aggravating. Are you iPhone or Android?

off phone and take out sim card and put it back or try sim card in other phone
also try rebooting phone.

Try pressing 1, 9
See pictorial below for this.
Maybe this may allow you to recover deleted/expired messages?

Hi thank you,
My partner just tried calling me and leaving a message, and same thing happened. It alerts me that there is a voicemail, but when I open my voicemail it says there are no new messages.

HI @LarissaDDT
try to call yourself from a home phone, not pick up the call and let it goes to voicemail and try to leave a message. Check back in 10 mins to see the message still there.
