2GB Fiona text a scam?

I've been trying to activate the 2GB Fiona data that I was texted and the link takes you to a dead eventbrite page.  Can't seem to get an answer or contact anyone for help

I'm feeling pretty ripped off and maybe paying extra money for a real person to ask question to isn't a bad idea

You'll need to wait for another response from a CSA.  The identity verification quetsion is suprising because that is one of the main reasons that Public Mobile wants customers to use the chatbot.

they usually reply on the same day.  I always message the. again if I do t get anything for 24 hours.

The chatbot isn't going to understand all questions. The key thing is to use it to open a ticket.

@nflfan92 , applying the promo code does not involve using an activation link or going to an external site.  Login to your self serve account and go to plans and addon tab, enter 2GBFiona into the promo code box on the lower right.  If this does not work then initiate a support ticket as suggested earlier.

hi @nflfan92 no scam, but it expired. It expired 7 days after they first sent you the text

@nflfan92   The promo was for a limited period, so not sure if it's already expired.  If you were unable to add to the promo box in the Plans/Add-on page, then submit a ticket via chatbot or private message and see if customer support can still give it to you.   Here's couple of links, try chatbot first.

@nflfan92  Apparently was a time sensitive offer.. plus you needed to have an area code in the affected areas
