I recently activated my plan and need more details about it. My plan states:
"20GB Data within Canada, the US, and Mexico at 5G Speed."
Does this mean I can use up to 20GB of data within these three countries?
Also, are there any specific settings I need to configure when using my plan in the U.S.?
I am planning to visit the U.S. soon.

whenever you get to USA (or even close to the border), you'll get a "Welcome to US" with a nag to get roaming add-on. If you have the Canada / US / Mx plan...just ignore that message..

hi @ona95kr yes, you can use all the data in any of these 3 countries. So, basically you use the service in US and Mexico like you are home
just make sure you turn on Mobile roaming data and connect to T-Mobile AT&T or Verizon when you are in US

Hey @ona95kr
Depending on what phone you have, check out this list.
EDIT: Removing link as already posted.
I know myself, with my iPhone, when I got to the US I turned off automatic and chose T-Mobile and then reboot my phone. It worked like magic. Now, everytime I go to the US, my phone remembers my choice and never a problem.
As @Phil_Adelphus mentioned, yes, you can use your unlimited talking texting and data in the US and Mexico just like you were sitting at home.

@ona95kr Yes the 20GB covers you whichever country you are in. Basically the plan covers you wherever you are in North America. You will need to enable data roaming in your settings, and best to check whether your phone is on the "certified" VoLTE list here otherwise it will have problems making voice calls when outside Canada unless you can connect to T-Mobile's 2G network (there is no more 3G in the USA)
