Hi,

Based on the above, it appears that your phone is 2G and 3G fully compatible with EE because of 2G 1800 MHz and 3G 2100 MHz. Unfortunately, it only appears fully compatible. In addition to frequencies, bands must also be taken into consideration. 2100 MHz in North America is not the same band as its same-named counterpart in England. 3G service will therefore not be available to you; you will be left with only 2G service where there is a signal.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Hello again,

According to willmyphonework.net, your phone requires 1800 MHz to function on EE's 2G network, and 2100 MHZ to operate on 3G. 4G LTE is not a possibility because your phone is not configured for that, regardless of location.

Based on the specifications provided by gsmarena.com, your phone can function in North America on 2G 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 1900 MHz. It can operate on 3G 900 MHz and 2100 MHz.

To be continued before my post times out.

Hello,

In one of your posts, you inquired about the cost of unlocking.

If you have your phone unlocked by Public Mobile, the charge is $50.

If you have a reputable service such as www.cellunlocker.net unlock your phone, it is considerably less. Also, there are reputable unlocking services on eBay; look for a company with a 100% or near-100% overall rating. If you decide to use a service from eBay, try to purchase the unlocking service through PayPal. In case of a dispute, where all factors are equal, PayPal is pro-customer.

For your information.

carebear123,

Based on research, Orange UK merged with T-Mobile UK to form a joint venture, EE.

EE does appear on my list of cellular service providers in the UK.

Later today, EDT, I will research whether your phone is compatible with EE.

Cheers.

carebear123,

I will be the sole responder of your post.

In order to determine if your phone will function in England, I need to know the name of the cellular carrier that you plan to use. You had mentioned Orange, but it is not listed on the site that I use. Is it known by an alternate name?

I look forward to your reply.

Cheers.
