I want to change phone company and still keep my number am unable to do so because they say my acount is not active what do I have to do to activate the acount I also lost the sym card
@Kimberly You cannot transfer a number unless the account is active. Click this: message to moderators to send a private message to the moderator team with your phone number, PIN, and an explanation. They may, but are not required to, reactivate your account for a few days to do this, or you may be required to purchase a 30 day plan (pick texting only for $20).
@Kimberly, keep in mind that if your account has been inactive for over 90 days, your number might have been released back to its original provider.
As far as I know to tea private your account you need to add a plan. I would just apply the minimum one available. Then you can switch to another provider with your same number. I know because that is what I had to do to keep my number when I switched to this carrier.
