Samsung sgh-a667t not receiving MMS

Hey everyone.

Im currently downgraded to a samsung sgh-a667t slide phone. Everything is working fine for the most part aside from picture texts. Does anyone know the issue? I’m pretty certain it’s an APN but I’m not sure how to go about fixing the settings, anyone have some

pointers?

PIN2 codes are used to protect specific actions on your SIM card. If your phone asks you a PIN2 code, the default code is 6666.

From what I found on the web 🙂

This answer seems to be putting me on the right path. But how do

I find a “pin2 code” ?

@Meaney709  Make sure data is turned on. APNs are a method by which you can access advanced communication using your handset. This advanced communication can include instant messaging, multimedia messaging, email, and internet access. Turning On APN Control requires the PIN2 code. To access APN control:

1. In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Phone ➔
Security ➔ APN Control.
2. Highlight On and press the Save soft key or the key

APN Control List
Allows you to enter APNs that you will turn control on. This option only displays when APN Control is set to On.

These are the Public Mobile APN settings you need:

Name: Public Mobile
APN: sp.mb.com
Proxy: Leave blank
Port: Leave blank
Username: Leave blank
Password: Leave blank
Server: Leave blank
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMSC proxy: 74.49.0.18
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication type: Leave blank
APN type: default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
Bearer: Unspecified
MVNO type: GID
MVNO value: 4D4F

Don't forget to save these settings and then select this APN as the active one.

Good Luck!
