Posts gone missing...

Mayor / Maire

This has happened on more that one occasion when my posts seem to get deleted. The latest example is here:

https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Getting-Started/US-Roaming-options-and-a-couple-of-ot...

  1. Has this  happened to anyone else?
  2. Why is this happening?
  3. Is there a problem with the system or my account?
  4. Who has the authority to delete replies?

Yeah that's bothersome but understandable. It's just coincidence that you happen to be typing when the original thread is yanked out from under you. The clue is the red box as you're typing. Forget about continuing, copy what you typed and then go find the thread again and reply and paste.

It happened 1 time with 1 of my message....because I tried too much time to edit it....probably...and the only who can delete a post is a moderator or an oracle.

@Lieux, Oracles can not delete any posts.  We do not have that ability

But you can move them. To a place that's not publically viewable.

As far as I understand. 🙂

@geopublic I've had the exact same problem lately. It's not happening when I edit a post, only with new posts, and it doesn't matter if I haven't posted in hours. It says that it's been posted, and I can see it, but if I refresh the page it disappears. It's seems to happen more often while using a VPN.

So there is a limit on how many times one can edit their post?

I don't know..but it didn't happen after this time. I am more careful with edit a post.Smiley Wink

@Lieux You are right, apparently if you edit a post more than once is gets classified as spam and gets moved to a junk folder and needs to be released by the mods. Now I know.

Thanks!
