Live on US Border, manual APN issue

Kirmin

I've looked through the forums and haven't been able to find this specific issue.

So I live right on the US border, and I'm currently on the $35 plan since that covers my usage needs. However, my service is somewhat spotty at my house. I've done all the setup with the manual APN settings for Public Mobile, but every time my phone loses service, it will interrupt whatever I'm doing with a popup to the APN list to manually select an APN rather than automatically reconnecting to Public Mobile.

Is there any way to resolve this? Or do I need to just spend the $60 on the plan that includes US roaming, though does that plan also include US call/text roaming or just data?

@KirminIt sounds like adding a signal booster to your house might alleviate some of your issues. It is not an APN problem, but your cellphone signal in your hosue is weak.

Signal booster at Radio Shack. If they are still there?
