LG G PAD III 8.0 unable to regisger to the LTE network

I have purchased this LG G PAD III 8.0 (LG-V522), had it unlocked. It's able to register to the Public Mobile HSPA network, but not the Publick Mobile LTE network. Anyone knows why and what can be done ? Much appreciated!

I know that Public Mobile provides LTE service in band 4 (1700/2100) and 17 (700) and this device is compatible with bands  2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 17, 4+17, 4+12, 2+17   (Correct me if I am wrong, thanks!)

I did manually search and found "Public Mobile: RAT LTE" , but I am unable to connect to it.

I got some advice saying that I need to update my APN (which is all blank for now), anyone with any advice on this ? Much appreciated!

Looks like it has the supported bands. Did you check your APN settings to make sure they're correct? There might also be an option in the settings to set your preferred network type. Should make sure that's set to LTE if it isn't already.

Hi @And_Rew,

Sometimes it takes a few hours before the LTE connects.  Can you do a manual search for networks?  You will see "Public Mobile - LTE".. try and connect to it now.

You are correct about the LTE bands in use by PM.. mainly band 4 and band 17.
