GPS Tracker use in the US and Canada

Can a public mobile sim card and plan be used in a GPS tracker both in the US and Canada?

Could my wife track me if I'm in the US and she is in Canada?

She has probably already installed a tracking device somewhere while you were asleep..😀

@Bass note that @Someone_here  is correct.  For a GPS tracking app to send your current location to your wife, you would need a data connection.  If you don't purchase a US Roaming Data add-on, the app will be unable to send any location updates other than when you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.

I guess you would have to try first in Canada if it works in your GPS tracker.

If yes, then a 10 day US data add-on would be required for the tracker to work as well in the states.
