Drop phone calls

Can someone help me ? I’ve been with Piblic mobile since 2018. . This  yr ( don’t remember exactly when it started ) but my phone started dropping my calls after 1 hr ( have anytime unlimited calling ) now past few days it’s been dropping calls within 5 mins of talking . My acct is up to date , I’ve taken SIM card out and still no resolution. I found APN settings there is digits in there .I don’t know if correct and can’t find Public mobile APN numbers . Please help or I’m going to have to go with another carrier as my cell is only phone I have for home and on road . Thankyou for your time

@Dunkman FYI: to be clear, APN settings have no impact on calling.

@Cao

APN setting more important for data, not calling.

Here is the website:

https://apn-canada.gishan.net/en/apn/public-mobile

Here is the settings:

Name: Public Mobile

APN: sp.mb.com

APN Type: default,mms,supl *

MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc

MMS/MMSC Proxy: 74.49.0.18

MMS/MMSC Port: 80

MCC: 302

MNC: 220

APN Protocol: IPv4

APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4

... leave all other fields blank/empty

My son also is with PM and is having same problem with drop calls .

Is it location specific?  home, work, etc....

There was a significant issue with drop calls a few months ago, which required PM to "fix" things.

Might want to contact moderator as described above.

The chat thing last nite suggested taking sim card out ( which I did ) and to check APN settings .. I know where they are but have no idea if # s in there are correct or not as I don’t know nor know where to find correct settings . Do you have APN number setting so I can see if they match with what’s in my phone ..Thankyou

@Cao

Maybe try your SIM in another phone to help determine whether it is hardware issue versus PM service issue.

If PM service issue, there have been some reports about drop phone calls.  You may need to contact moderator to investigate.  Click on quesiton mark on right lower corner of website and start ticketing process.
