Cancel the service and refund

Pallav13

Hi,

I have just activated the service with PM and unfortunately, I am not happy with the network. I would like to cancel it but can anyone advise how will I get a refund of unused days for an already paid amount for the whole month? Also, I have some balance in my account so can I get the refund of that amount as well?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You said you weren't happy with the network...what's going on that makes you say that? It runs on Telus. They share with Bell. That makes both having the best coverage.

I suppose you might be experiencing some weird pocket of weak Telus/Bell but that seems like maybe a stretch.

i got a refund at McDonald’s cause my meal was not good.

That is a difference to "not happy" or "don't like"

Sorry, prepaid and no refund.

If you go to McDonald's and buy a Big Mac Meal, eat the fries and then decide you don't like the Coke or the burger, will you get a refund for the meal?

Well, all the service providers are prepaid right..

so you are sure I won't get a refund?

There are prepaid services and postpaid services. For postpaid, you get a bill. That bill will have the amount to pay for the future term much like with prepaid. But what makes it postpaid is you now get billed for any extra charges/overages/consumption that you just caused in the finishing term.

This is a prepaid service. No prepaid service in Canada that I know of provides refunds for unused days/data/texts/minutes if one wishes to stop being a customer mid-term.

I've read things here about people transferring Available Funds to other Public Mobile customers. But again, no refunds.

You may as well use the service until your funds are gone...pm is prepaid therefore no refunds
