Can't pay for service

Today my mobile plan was suposed to top off auto, but instead, no top off and PM won't take payment from any of my credit/debit cards.

Since they don't have cust. service all I can do is wait and hope an Angel would come from the skyes and restore my service.

Multiple attempts at setting up payment cards can and will lock the activation process for a period of time.  Wait an hour, and try again.

 

Multiple attempts to sign in to the self-serve module (My Account) will also lock you out with multiple attempts with a wrong password.  Wait an hour, then try again.

 

If your phone is working, disregard what it says in the self-serve module.  There's a note at the top that tells you to do so.

 

Screaming and yelling in here will not get you better service.  Stay polite, and use the advice offered by others to your advantage, rather than suffrage.

Yes. Those work perfectly fine (prepaids...I don't know a google card). I use them. The OP seems more interested in waiting for mods though.

Suit yourself. If you can't be bothered to use work arounds then unless someone here has some amazingly amazing trick up their sleeves to magically get you going then you'll just have to wait for the mods. I'd *really* like to know those tricks but maybe they'd want to keep them as their special secret methods. So maybe they can type with you in pm so you can get on your way. Otherwise...enjoy.

Over 24h without service, no answer from 3 mods I've wrote.

You don't need worry about your account status, since you said your service still works. Sometimes the account status was suspended, etc when the renew was processing.

You don't need worry about your account status, since you said your service still works. Sometimes the account status was suspended, etc when the renew was processing.

It looks like your account was hacked by hacker, so for security reason PM probably locked your account. This is only my thinking.

PM may not be your best choice of service and the cost savings is not worth the stress you're facing.

 

I think Koodo Mobile or Telus Mobility are better options for you, as they have a call in number/live online chat.

Sort out all the other sh1t after you get some service going again.

It doesn't matter until then.

Do you want a working phone?

Did you try to see if the system still thinks you have a cc registered?

Did you buy a voucher?

Did you try it?

 

Edit: IN THE 611 SERVICE! We already know the self-serve isn't working for you.

Did all that, 4 times. My card is still registerd. Won't take anything, no cc, no vouchers.

Never had a problem with the payment system in 2 plus years I've been with 

Public Mobile. 

611 doesn''t work, nothing works. So no, a voucher wouldn't help.

They changed my plan to 10/mo without my knoledge and suspended it.

That's it. No phone service, no way to make payment.

Yes. That's how it's supposed to work. Your account is suspended. So the only thing it needs from you is money.

Dial 611. It'll tell you the account is suspended. Yup. Then press 1 to make a payment. Then press 1 or 2 to choose which method.

If you press 2 here then it'll tell you if there's a card registered or not.

If not then you'll need to use 1 with a voucher on hand.

If you get all turned around then just hang up and go back in.

There are NO workarounds, impossible to use any form of pay or vouchers, 

nothing works. Wrote to lots of moderators, no answer so far.

Might take 48h to 6 months. Who knows!

611 doesnt work, says make a payment first, account suspended...LOL

So a voucher would be useless.

There are long time people here that have said plenty of negative things towards this company. They're still here. I've only been here a year but I've certainly said things.

There's no conspiracy of the company being out to get you. Always remember that they want your money. This payment system has been crap for many people for 3 months now. But so too have a whole lotta people been carrying on with nary a problem. We don't hear from them. Why would we.

 

Please...go find a voucher in store or online...use the 611 service to enter it in. Hopefully your service will pick up on whatever plan it's on and you're back. Then sort out whatever the heck is going on with your credit card afterwards when you finally hear from the mods.

I was on a $25/mo unlimited plan, I am now on a $10/mo plan that I can't change nor pay for, cc or

voucher, nor 611. 

Who changed my plan to 10/mo. The automatic system? I don't think so.

and you might be using it for a living?

It's our fault for using a cheap, crapy company with NO Costumer Service.

Did you ever look into getting a voucher somewhere?

If you did remove your credit card in the self-serve then no it's not available to you in the 611 and there isn't a way to add one. So vouchers. Or prepaid credit card gift card.

Another idea is to get one of those prepaid "credit" card gift cards. They work fine here too.

I don't think your critique is all that important to PM. Lots of people have rough patches with PM but once it get going it's usually fairly stable.

Try all the suggestions provided...go down to nearest 7/11 and get a voucher, then call 611. That should get you going until you can get cc issue corrected.
