Activated 2 phones, one has voice but no data, the other has mobile data, no voice calling

Activated two phones at dealer.  One phone has mobile data, but no calling
The other has calling but no mobile data.  Four people at dealer tried for 3 hours

no solution.  Both phones are telus network compatible. 
Sent private email, no reply so far. Any suggestions? Thanks

Thanks for your help.  After 9 days, mods & London Drugs could not resolve.
Swiched to Koodo, put in sim cards, both phones worked great.

As others have said:
- If no data, did you setup APN?
- Did you try swapping SIM?

@Lakepuppy  What happens when you swap sims between phones?

What exact make/model are the phones?

Are they unlocked?

Both brand new numbers from public mobile or ported numbers from elsewhere? Porting can take a few hours to complete but sounds as though it may have been more than that now.
