A couple of local numbers can not call my number..can someone help

Only a select few numbers can not call me. I did not port my number. I selected a new one when i switched over to public mobile. Can someone tell me why this may happen? They even tried with the area code included.

something in a Telus operator voice saying something similar to "20T1:  The number you have dialed is not in service" or "2UT2 The call cannot be placed as dialed"?    The exact message might help as those types of letters and numbers are an error code that might help the carrier in troubleshooting.

Yes i can call out, text and i dont have data just use Wi-Fi. When they call they get just letters and numbers voiced to them.

What does caller hear when they call your new number?

Are you able to use data, text, outgoing call?   

We need more info to troubleshoot.
