CONTEST NOW CLOSED -Boo! Calling All Ghouls, Ghosts, and Goblins to Enter Our Halloween Contest

Deputy Mayor / Adjoint au Maire

Happy Halloween, everyone! The time of year has come for jack-o-lanterns, trick-or-treating, and haunted houses. Start getting in the mood by making popcorn and peeking out from behind a blanket to watch Friday the 13th. Or maybe something lighter like Ghostbusters. Whatever floats your scary boat.

Of course, the big question on everyone’s mind is…what am I going to dress up as? Do I go for something relevant and clever? But wait, what about a group costume or a couple’s costume? If you’re among the wafflers, don’t panic – we’ve got you covered. Here are some awesome last-minute costume ideas:

1. Cowboy/Cowgirl

You own a plaid shirt? Boom, now you’re a cowboy. Just get your hands on a cowboy hat and boots and you’re ready to roll.

2. Steve Jobs

There’s a good chance you already have an iPhone. All you need is a black turtleneck, glasses, and all of sudden you’ve transformed into the genius we call Jobs.

3. Chip on Your Shoulder

This is exactly what it sounds like. Take a bag of Doritos or Lays and tape them to your shoulder. Congratulations, you have a chip on your shoulder. You’re ready for the party.

4. Tourist

Hat? Check. Fanny Pack? Check. Backpack? Check. Now throw some sunscreen on your face, hold a map upside down, and you’re a tourist.

5. Netflix and Chill

Get a red shirt. Write Netflix on it. Now hold a bag of ice and you’re Netflix and Chill. Plus people will think you’re a clever devil with this costume.

Did we reduce those panic levels? You’re welcome. We’d also like to know what you’re dressing up as this year. Comment below with your most creative costume idea by November 7th  at 12:00PM EST and 3 winners will be randomly selected to win a $50 Public Mobile credit. Try not to eat too much candy, and stay spooky!
