topic Koodo migration in Get Support

Hello,

I would like to request a refund of the renewal charge that was processed on July 28.

I attempted to port my number to Koodo on July 27, before my renewal date. However, the porting process could not be completed because I received an error message. Unfortunately, customer support was no longer available, so I was unable to resolve the issue before the renewal.

I have attached a screenshot of the error message showing that the porting attempt was unsuccessful.

Today, July 28, I was able to complete the port to Koodo successfully. However, my Public Mobile subscription was also renewed today, even though my number was ported out the same day. As a result, I did not use the renewed service.

Given these circumstances, I would greatly appreciate it if you could make an exception and refund the renewal charge.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.

PM is a prepaid provider and no refund

but you actually have better chance to ask Koodo for a credit, as Koodo and Public Mobile both owned by Telus. Please check with Koodo support

of course, if you like you can still try asking Public Mobile, but I honestly doubt they can do anything on this side

Since you cannot properly login PM My Account after porting out, you won't be able to open the preferred Chatbot ticket. So, you will need to message them here:
       https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

CS_Agent will reply to your community inbox between 9AM-10PM EST (Mon-Sun), check here:
      https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage
