I would like get my public mobile phone unlocked. Please guide me or support me on this. Let me know what all the information required. I am not a Public Mobile customer at the moment. Thank you.

@silvypjose Do not post any psersonal details as this is a public community.

To get your phone unlocked, you will need to send a private message to the Moderator_Team with your account and phone info.

If I do need Moderator assistance, what information should I provide?

Once the Community Moderator has responded to your private message, they will provide you with a secure link so they can authenticate your account information

In order to validate your account information, you will be asked for 1) Your account number and 2) Your PIN number

What are the Contact Support’s hours of operation?
Monday - Friday 9AM (EDT) - 9PM (EDT) Saturday - Sunday 9AM (EDT) - 7:00PM (EDT)

You need to contact your current service provider if you bought your phone with them, and ask for a code to unlock your phone. It takes a minute if your provider offer support via online chat. Hope it helps.

Forgot to mention, the only information you need to provide is your IMEI number. Dial *#06# on your phone to discover your IMEI number

Thank you very much for your reply. I have my IMEI number with me. I am not with Public Mobile now. Whom should i contact in this case? unfortunately there is no Customer support via phone. How do i get somebody from public mobile to unlock my phone? I appreciate your time and support. Please let me know. Thank you.

you can contact the provider to whom the phone belong if not you can unlock your phone by any website that offer cell unlocking or you can go to store that unlock the phone ... public mobile does not unlock phones..

its easy to unlock it online ..

Websites charge you for unlocking. From Jan 2018 onwards unlocking is free in Canada by law. How do I contact Public Mobile Cx service to get my phone unlocked..? Thank you.

Since you are not a customer, I'm going to assume that your phone is not from Telus or Koodo. In that case, Public Mobile cannot help you. They will only unlock phones that are locked to Telus. Contact the carrier that your phone is locked to.

If I am mistaken, contact the moderators with the IMEI of your Telus-locked phone.

If it is a Telus locked phone, it should be able to work on Public Mobile? Not sure though. Otherwise, contact moderator if you have a telus locked phone. If another company, you need to contact that company to unlock phone. It should be a free service these days.

how do you know it is locked by public mobile ? I don't think PM sells phone?!
