I hate a lot of things about public mobile but now I have visual voicemail it seems so that's nice. Is this official?

as far as we know, there is no Visual Voicemail, you sure you are not using iPhone Live Voice Message?

There has been no announcement of such. But then again, communication isn't their strong suit here.

I'm going to say it's probably hardware related more than anything.

Visual Voicemail usually require setup. PM has never provided anyone how to setup , I don't know how you are using it

More information of what you see that make you think you have VVM would help

Oddly enough @slusagm , when I was using my iPhone 14 Plus recently before I switched to the S24, my Visual Voicemail was functional on my iPhone with Public Mobile. Hence the reason I feel it's phone/hardware/software related.

You may wish to read what I wrote once more. There is a difference between iOS Live Voicemail and Visual Voicemail. iOS Live Voicemail transcripts on your screen while the caller is leaving a message. Visual Voicemail, what @Shimi is asking/commenting about, displays a transcript of the entire message once the caller has hung up under the Phone app. Hence the reason I feel it's phone/hardware/software related.

i can only say I don't see any trace of Visual Voicemail on my Samsung devices. I can test it on an iPhone later

@Chalupa_Batman , you are a regular here, I am surprised you didn't bring this up when you see it on your iPhone earlier. Now you changed to a Samsung and you likely cannot post any proof now

Hey @hTideGnow , sorry for the delayed response, went out for lunch. Honestly, I didn't even think about taking screenshots or even bringing it up as Visual Voicemail on an iPhone is hardware/software/iOS related. Just assumed every iPhone had it. Didn't think twice about it. But ya, I moved to a S24 cause texts are free and iPhone uses data for iMessages so, now I save my data for back up rather than necessity. I still have 10GB plus from years past of Xmas gifts. 🙂

Sorry, the thing I forgot to add is that you won't see Visual Voicemail on your Samsung or Android phones as you'd need a carrier approved app for it. With iPhones, it's built in to the Phone app.

Maybe it's not technically visual voicemail but it shows transcripts and playable recordings of voicemails in the missed call section. Maybe I can get a screenshot but I'd blackout content.

that is not Public Mobile Visual Voicemail. That is Pixel Live Voicemail, similar to iPhone's Live Voicemail. It has nothing to do with Public Mobile voicemail system, just a Pixel feature

Sorry @Chalupa_Batman , i have to tell you there is still no Visual Voicemail here. OP and what you saw on iPhone was simply the Live Voicemail feature specific to devices, Pixel and iPhone.

Seriously? @hTideGnow , before posting again, please, I implore you to actually READ what's been said in this thread before making comments and tagging me saying that I've said something when I haven't. The proof and evidence is clearly in this thread. Visual Voicemail is baked into the Phone App on iPhone. It's hardware/software related. It has nothing to do with Public Mobile. I've stated that multiple times in this thread and not once said it was a Public Mobile feature. Please, don't embarrass yourself any further than you already have.

PM has no visual voicemail, none of the Tier 3 carrier has it other than Fizz

you said you saw it, but there is nothing to prove now

and, it is a true surprise PM only provision you the Visual Voicemail (OP has Pixel and his is Pixel Live Voicemail.. "Take a Message")
