Voicemail won’t answer

I’m new to PM and I seem to have everything working fine except one thing....voicemail will not answer. If I can’t answer the phone when someone calls I would like the call to go to voicemail but instead the caller is just cut off!! Does anyone know how to fix this?

Try dialling your own number and take it from there .

Thank you....I should clarify...I have set up my voicemail, I’ve recorded a personal message and activated it but it isn’t working. The caller continues to get cut off.

Are you talking about when someone called you and reach your voicemail then its cut off?

Your cell phone should have forwarding number for voicemail setup. This happens automatically most of the time.Maybe was a glitch for you.

What device are you using? I’m using an Android, and using the default dialing app. Within the dealer settings, you can find the call forwarding instructions. The number if setup properly will end in 4001 or 4002, and maybe 4003 or 4004. The number will be a locally assign based on your area code and exchange.

Hi..when someone calls me they don’t even get to voicemail.....after they hear 6 rings the phone just cuts off.

Hi there...I’m afraid work was calling my name this morning and I haven’t had time to get back here until now. Yes...your help was just what I needed, when I checked my call forwarding menu I found one of the three numbers was wrong. Calls were being directed to +112xxxxxxx when it should have been +122xxxxxx. Thank you for your help!!
