I changed over my number from Bell 6 days ago. Everything worked after the activation. Used eSIM as it was compatible with my iPhone. 5 days later I can longer send RCS text messages but I’m still receiving them. Text Messages suddenly stated “number changed to primary” and primary settings state “waiting for activation”. I’m at a loss as to how to fix this.

hi @RebeccaLade

are you able to receive inbound calls? If you do, then yes, the port was done and it was just an RCS issue

Make sure your removed Bell sim card or disable Bell eSIM. The Sim Manager on your phone should only shows PM sim there and active.

then, backup all the RCS and text, then uninstall Google Message (or if it only shows Uninstall Update, please do so). Then wait 15 mins and reboot phone. Go back to Google App store and install or update Google Message. Once installed, turn on RCS to re-register
