What about phones that are on 5G? Does the US Data Roaming add on work seamlessly for them?

It will as long as their 5G phone is on the Public Mobile list of recognized Volte enabled cellphones. Here's some reading on the subject and a device checker at the end of the article. Most newer North American versions of cellphones will likely be on the list....but if it's not compatible; ain't gonna work whilst in USA. Data and messaging will be fine...just not talk.
