Set up esim on wrong phone

I tried to set up an account on my son's phone, but did it in error on my phone. I deleted the esim from my phone and now I can't use it on his without 2-step verification, which will only send a text through to his number, there is no option to send to email, and his number doesn't work yet, because the setup is not yet complete. Help.

you shouldn't delete the eSIM. You should have setup on the proper phone first, then delete the wrong one
