My Bell number was ported to Public Mobile on May 18. The eSIM is installed correctly on my Samsung phone and is turned on, but the line still shows “Unknown number” in SIM Manager.

I am currently in Israel. The Public Mobile SIM can detect Israeli networks (Partner, Cellcom, HOT), but every network rejects registration and I cannot receive SMS messages, including verification texts.

I have already:

- rebooted the device

- disabled RCS

- reset network registration

- selected the Public Mobile eSIM as primary

- tested inbound and outbound SMS

This appears to be a provisioning or roaming activation issue on the Public Mobile/TELUS side, not a phone configuration issue. Please check:

- roaming provisioning

- SMS provisioning

- eSIM activation status

- whether the port fully completed

- whether the MSISDN/phone number is properly attached to the eSIM profile
