But, with that being said, you are permitted to change your number 4 times per month. Here is the link.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://myaccount.publicmobile.ca/en/account/profile/update/phone-number" target="_blank"&gt;https://myaccount.publicmobile.ca/en/account/profile/update/phone-number&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just know this. If you choose a different area code that you have now, you may have to pay a different provincial tax and possibly 911 fees.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;sorry&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/305475"&gt;@Grant987&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you don't get to choose the exact phone number.&amp;nbsp; No carrier let you do this anymore.&amp;nbsp; You choose the city you want and the system will randomly give you couple choices to choose from.&amp;nbsp; If you don't like any of those, repeat the exercise until you got one you like&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/305475"&gt;@Grant987&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Chance are slim to none that you can keep the last 7 digit with a new area code.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try calling the new area code and 7 digit to see if it belongs to someone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also the number may belong to a specific carrier other than Telus/Koodo/PM if it works. If it is a different carrier, you need to open an account with them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just curious what is the area code and first 3 digits?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
