I recently got a new phone. iPhone 13 Pro Max. I took out my physical sim from my 12 pro max and it’s not working in my new phone. No calls no data. But, even tho the sim is out of my old phone, it still works to call people? How do I transfer my phone number?

If you took the SIM card out, but your old phone is still making calls, perhaps you are using an eSIM on the old phone. Look in the Cellular settings for eSIM. If your Public Mobile SIM is an eSIM, to move it to a new phone, download the Public app on the new phone and acquire a new eSIM. If you've been using an eSIM for a while, the new eSIM should be free.
