    <description>&lt;P&gt;I cancelled my plan this afternoon to switch to another carrier.&amp;nbsp; I received a text that Public Mobile is processing the cancellation.&amp;nbsp; Two hours later I am STILL waiting for confirmation so I can insert the sim card for the new carrier.&amp;nbsp; How long should this take??&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You cancelled your Public Mobile account before requesting to port to a new carrier? No, you cannot do that. Your account MUST be active to port.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you did cancel, you need to pay again to activate your account and then request port. Once&amp;nbsp; your account is successfully ported out, it will automatically close.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you don't want to pay again to activate,&amp;nbsp; you have to pick a new number with your new carrier.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/346106"&gt;@btcards&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when you said you "cancelled my plan", i hope you meant you replied PM text and approve the porting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;so, is your PM sim card still working? reboot the phone and test.&amp;nbsp; If it still works, then port is not completed&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you need to call your new carrier for update, or they might have to re-request porting&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My new carrier is all set but it is public mobile that keeps saying the transfer 'in progress'.&amp;nbsp; And then I get messages from KOODO which is part of the Telus consortium.&amp;nbsp; Those of you seeking to offer advice would do well not to suggest that I am incompetent.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I clearly need to chat with an authorized agent, but those contacts are elusive.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
